
An Alaska Airlines plane that that was flying from Juneau, Alaska to Seattle had to make an emergency landing at Vancouver International Airport on Sunday.
The Boeing 737-400 aircraft experienced issues with one of the plane’s two electrical systems, forcing the pilots to follow emergency procedures and land at the nearest airport.

It landed safely in Vancouver shortly before 5 p.m. with 120 passengers and five crew members.
Technicians and maintenance crews inspected the problem plane after it landed. A replacement aircraft was deployed to Vancouver to take the flight’s passengers to Seattle, their final destination.
