Watch an outdoor showing of Aladdin for free in Stanley Park next week

One of Vancouver’s favourite summertime events is looking to end on a high note.

The Evo Summer Cinema series, held at the Grand Lawn at Ceperley Meadows, will be hosting its last night of the summer on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

For its final night of the year, the Fresh Air Cinema will be playing Disney’s Aladdin, starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith.

As always, lawn seating at Ceperley Meadows is free and there’s plenty of space, but be sure to come early as it’s first-come-first-served. You’ll also want to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.

Or, if you want the best seat in the house, the Fresh Air Cinema has an exclusive tentree Canopy seating area, outfitted with 250 comfortable Adirondack chairs, snacks, and a free gift.

For ease of access to the park, moviegoers are encouraged to walk, transit, or bike in for the shows — free valet bike service is also offered.
