Akakuro-Buta Media Tasting Tour

Earlier last week, VcB was invited on a media tour to try a few dishes using Akakuro-buta pork. Promoted as one of the highest quality pork offerings in Canada, this specific product is raised in Alberta and is currently available for purchase at various T&T Supermarket locations. Our small media group started at Kingyo Izakaya, moved next door to Damso Modern Korean Cuisine and then finished the tour at Secret Location.

Thoughts: The quality and versatility of this pork offering was highlighted quite nicely across the three different venues. Each of the three executive chefs spoke very highly of the pork and the sincere regard for the premium ingredient really came through in each of the four dishes.
