Two Canadian airlines are waiving fees for customers looking to rebook their Las Vegas travel plans.

Air Canada and WestJet made the announcement following the tragic shooting in Las Vegas that claimed the lives of over 55 people —including two Canadians —and injured nearly 500 on Monday.

WestJet confirmed it currently has a flexible change/cancel promise in place for those travelling to Las Vegas between now and October 4.

“WestJet’s employees across our network are saddened and horrified by the terrible event that occurred in Las Vegas. Our thoughts are with those whose family and friends have been affected by this tragedy,” said the airline in a statement to Daily Hive.
