Air Canada currently experiencing system-wide issue affecting check-in, flights

Update: Air Canada has resolved the issue and sent Daily Hive this response vie email: 

The IT system hardware problem affecting check-in earlier this afternoon has been resolved. Some flights were delayed due to checking in manually. However, we expect to get everyone to their destinations with minimal delay as we are adding larger aircraft where possible and were able to limit cancellations to a small handful of flights. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ patience.  Customers should check for the status of their flight.

The issue was briefly fixed before before it crashed again. No offical update from Air Canada has yet to announce the problem has been fixed. Some flights have been delayed as a result.
