Adorable bunnies are coming to UBC to help stressed-out students cope with life

There’s nothing like adorable animals to help tackle the stress of student life — at least, that’s the idea behind an event coming to the University of British Columbia next week.

Taking place on Tuesday, October 22, the “Bunny Social” is returning to the AMS Nest from 10:45 am to 2:30 pm.

Attendees are given treat cups for the rabbits, who will have the option of socializing with students or hanging out in their houses.

According to organizers these types of “meet n’ treat” sessions have “proven equally therapeutic for the mostly adoptable rabbits who quickly learn to appreciate the treats and the humans offering them.”

The ‘Bunny Social’ is courtesy of UBC PAW (Pre-Vet and Animal Welfare Club) and is open to everyone.
