Adoptable pets of the week: The Rottweiler puppies, Robin and Sparrow

Apr 6 2019, 1:28 am

What is better than one Rottweiler puppy?

That’s simple. The answer is two.

And lucky for us, there are two for adoption right now in Vancouver.

Robin and Sparrow are about six months old. Typical of the “Rottie” breed, shelter staff say they are happy and playful.

And, because of their young age, they are — at times — a little exuberant.  Basic obedience and training is recommended for the adopters of these sweet young gals.

The shelter is looking for a home without cats and kids that are 14 years or older. Other large dogs are okay.

Interested parties are asked to email in an application to the shelter, or stop by their location on Raymur Avenue during opening hours and fill one out.

In-person meetings aren’t happening right now because the shelter is expecting there to be a high demand for the pups and they don’t want the animals to be overwhelmed.

Their mom, Raven, is also at the shelter and waiting for her forever home. Like her daughters, Raven is described on the shy side.

All the dogs have up-to-date vaccinations and are spayed.

Contact City of Vancouver Animal Services if you are interested in meeting any of these lovely ladies!
