Adopt Me: Very chill 'cat-dog' Alistair needs a second chance

Jan 16 2019, 3:59 am

Old man Alistair found himself at the animal shelter after being picked up wandering the streets of Langley.

And that’s where he’s been for 59 days.

Staff at Langley Animal Protection Society believes this nice-natured old man is 10 years young, so, a senior.

He still loves his walks, and his tail will not stop wagging when he sees his favourite people.  He is in great health.

While he’s been with LAPS, Alistair has been temperament tested and done well.  It’s believed that he could live with another dog, preferably a female.  He’s also done smashingly well with foster-kitty siblings.

The only no-go is small children.

He has been fostered with one of the staff member, who says he gets along well with her cats and loves to be around people.

“[He] is a total love bug,” they report.

His foster mama lovingly describes him as a “cat dog” that sleeps the day away on his bad, is reliably house-trained and has great house manners.

He’s incredibly chill but also has his playful moods too, she adds.

Let’s help give this golden oldie a second chance!
