Australian hard rock band AC/DC will be in Vancouver later this spring to record their next album.
This comes after rumours, reported by the Sydney Morning Herald, that 61-year old band leader Malcolm Young is suffering from a terminal illness.
However, the band has denied the rumours in Australian media and confirmed they have booked studio time in Vancouver beginning on May 1 to work on their fifteenth album.
The band was formed in 1974 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young and has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide.
They have played several concerts in Vancouver, the latest in August 2009 at BC Place.
