Accessible Entrepreneurship: the 2nd Annual From Idea to Open Networking event
The 2nd “From Idea to Open” event will take place at the Water Street Profile, #200 – 375 Water Street, on November 27, 2013 from 5:30-8 pm.
As Vancouver’s only networking event for emerging entrepreneurs, From Idea to Open is an event designed to nurture those with new business ideas and connect them with people who can help help them grow.
Speakers include Jill Earthy, BC & Yukon Director of Canadian Youth Business Foundation, and Jessica Oman, founder of Write Ahead. Headlining the event is Maninder Dhaliwal, a 2013 BIV Top Forty Under 40 award winner and Executive Director of Tradeworks BC. Andrea Shillington, founder of local agency Brands for the People, will emcee the evening.
Event sponsors include Facet Advisors, Kashoo Simple Cloud Accounting, Webnames, Small Business Accelerator, Mitsumi Kawai Law Works, Canadian Youth Business Foundation, and Axis Insurance Managers. The event includes appetizers, gift bags for all attendees and door prizes.
