A 45-year-old man is dead after a fire in Abbotsford on Sunday evening.
At 7:45 pm, Abbotsford Police along with firefighters responded to reports of a trailer fire in the 34000 block of 3rd Avenue.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found a “severely injured” man inside the structure.
He was taken to hospital, but died a few hours later from his injuries.
Police said the trailer where the man was found was part of a business operation involved in commercial truck repair.
As a result, Worksafe BC are now involved in the investigation of the incident, along with Abbotsford Police and fire services.
