Slap on your sun hat and put the petal to the metal, the Abbotsford Tulip Festival 2016 is almost here.
The annual celebration of one of nature’s most beautiful and beloved flowers is back again, with over 10 acres of breathtaking tulips for you and the family to enjoy.
To round things out check out the hay bale playground, the food trucks, live music, tether ball games, duck races, slacklining, a tulip picking field, and more, all in view of the majestic Mount Baker.
It’s $5 to get in or $15 for a photographers’ pass, giving you access to the fields from sunrise to sunset. For more information on the festival, visit the Abbotsford Tulip Festival website.
This event provides an alternative to the now-defunct Tulips of the Valley Festival in neighbouring Agassiz.
