Sometimes, criminals make it too easy for them to get caught.

That was exactly the case in Abbotsford where police nabbed a suspect who locked himself in a stolen vehicle.

According to police, the suspect locked himself in the back of a stolen van which had a metal barrier separating the front seat and the back of the vehicle.

At 2 am neighbours reported that the van was “shaking violently” and police attended the scene to discover the perpetrator trapped inside. Police arrested the 38-year-old and he is now in custody for possession of stolen property.
