Abbotsford International Sevens 2011

This Saturday, July 23rd Canada’s largest international sevens tournament is here. In only its third year, the Abbotsford International Sevens has earned the support of globally renowned players and includes a women’s division, men’s division and an international division.

The following teams will be competing in the international division.

The announcement of rugby sevens being selected as an official Olympic sport has generated excitement from fans all over the world teams. The International Sevens Rugby will be included in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, which is taking place in Brazil.

The Abbotsford International Sevens held its first game three years ago knowing where this sport was heading and embraces a vision of joining the Sevens World Series circuit. Abbotsford International Sevens began with hosting two international teams and has grown to include the BC Summer Sevens Series , and is proudly sanctioned by the BC Rugby Union and Rugby Canada.
