There's an outdoor craft beer festival hitting up Abbotsford this weekend

Aug 10 2017, 3:36 am

Craft beer lovers, get ready for a massive brew-filled festival this weekend.

Brew North Strong is a new outdoor celebration of adult beverages taking place at the 55th annual Abbotsford International Airshow from August 11 to 13. So if you appreciate a good aviation show, you’ll love this.

Whether you’re a well-seasoned beer tasting pro or a total newbie, you can go along to Brew North Strong and sample some awesome local BC craft beers, wine, and cider, all while hearing the roar of a CF-18 Hornet overhead.

Not to mention there will be runway seating available in the festival area where you’ll be able to see some specular views. Yep, you’ll definitely want to add this to your Instagram story.

There will be something for everyone at the festival from lawn games to areas where you can chill out at tables with shade, plus plenty of food trucks, and plenty of booze.

All guests must be aged 19 or over to attend this Airshow-inspired beer celebration.

Package tickets to the event cost $40, which includes both your Brew North Strong Festival ticket and general admission to the Airshow, plus a tasting mug. You can snap up tickets online now ahead of this weekend’s festivities.

Don’t forget if you want to sample the brews on offer at Brew North Strong, you can purchase some tasting tokens when you get there or online in advance. They cost $1.50 each so that means you could try quite a few different libations for $10.
