According to a release, police received reports of an incident at 9:50 am in a residence in the 30400 block of Sandpiper Drive.

Several hours earlier, two armed men – including one man with a shotgun – awakened three of the occupants at the home.

They tied up two male victims, both 35 years of age, and one 31-year-old female then scoured the home for valuables, filling a bag as they searched. They stole both cash and valuables from the home.

There was also a three-year-old child inside, who was asleep in one of the bedrooms throughout the ordeal. However, the adult victims suffered minor injuries.

When they left, the suspects stole two vehicles from the residence’s driveway – a white Cadillac CTS and a grey Porsche Cayenne.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit at 604-859-5225 or text investigators at 222973. Alternatively, they can reach out to Crime Stoppers’ anonymous hotline at 1-800-222-8477.
