Debuting in 1983, the Vancouver Flea Market consistently attracts a slew of city goers every year.
The flashy bright red exterior of the market’s building is impossible to miss, giving it the name of “the big red barn.” Located on Terminal Avenue, it’s been a landmark in the city since the early 1900s and was once rumoured to be a hanger for building aircraft during WWII. During this time Vancouverites learned to love it as a weekend activity they could experience with both family and friends.

In 2002 the Vancouver Flea Market came under new management. Once again, it became a family-friendly place for shopping enthusiasts to search for their treasures.
