6 great wines for Valentine's Day (and what to pair them with)

Dec 19 2017, 1:55 pm

Here are six great bottles of wine to help make Valentine’s Day go smoother, along with suggestions on what foods to pair them with.

Since February 14 falls on a Saturday this year, it could be the perfect time to cook a romantic dinner at home, or have a reservation at your favourite restaurant. Single or just boycotting that day on the calendar? Have a w(h)ine and cheese party and a few laughs with friends, instead. Either way, there’s room at the table for lots of good wine.

We talked to Everything Wine Store Manger Rory Conroy to help us put together a list of wines representing a variety of price points and countries. These wines can’t be found in a government liquor store, but are all available at Everything Wine, who stock 3,500 wines, have two locations in Metro Vancouver, and even deliver on weekdays to your door.
