5K Foam Fest brings world's largest inflatable waterslide to Sun Peaks

DH Vancouver Staff May 31, 2016 11:03 am

Time to get dirty, wet and clean! The 5K Foam Fest is taking over Sun Peaks in June, and this year includes the world’s largest inflatable waterslide.

The Obstacle Course main event will feature more than 22 obstacles, including a foam chamber, spider web forest, mud pits, cargo climbs and 50-foot slip n’ slides.

The course is intended to challenge runners of all abilities – the obstacles won’t be easy and some are inherently dangerous – but the vibe is more funcore than hardcore.

You can sign up to run it as an individual or with your family, co-workers or friends as a team.

If you don’t fancy the foam, you can always be a spectator and enjoy the rest of the festival, which will include a beer garden, music, a Skyfall drop ride and a Kids’ Fun Zone.

Registrations are open now and include a medal, beach towel, temporary tattoo, sport lolly – and most importantly, showers!
