Keurig Green Mountain Inc. is recalling about 6.6-million single-serve brewing machines in the United States and Canada over concerns the machines could overheat, spray hot water and burn users.

The model in question is the Keurig MINI Plus brewer, model number K10 and previously identified as B31.

According to a recall notice by Health Canada, there have been 25 reports of liquids spraying from the machine in Canada, causing 17 minor burns.

The brewing machines were manufactured in China and Malaysia and sold from December 2009 to December 2014 in both countries. Approximately 564,000 machines were sold in Canada and about another 6-million were sold in the United States.
