5 ways to get your kid off the couch this summer

Jun 3 2016, 11:09 pm

This summer there’s a new incentive for getting both you and your child off the couch.

If you’ve caught yourself breathing out a loud sigh when looking at your drab plans for the summer, then you might be surprised by a new activity roster that’s hitting Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Kidsworld is changing the way parents and their kids make memories this summer. As a result, you can throw out your drab calendar and sub it with activities that you’ll actually enjoy.

Memberships are designed for kids aged four to 13, plus one adult. The best part is that a membership is flexible and fun. That means you can experience its activities across the Lower Mainland for no additional cost. What’s also cool is you’ll get bonus discounts including the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2,  Abbotsford Air Show, Playland, Keats Camps, and Anvil Island. You’ll enjoy city experiences that take you to cool places you might not go otherwise – all you need to do is bring your camera.

A Kidsworld summer membership and Kidsworld 44 membership are $50 each – a pretty incredible deal for an entire summer of events. Altogether, the value of all the events is close to $1000 per membership, meaning amazing savings all around – you can start cashing in on June 11 for the first Kidsworld event. Fans looking for a wider experience can sign up with a year round membership for $95, meaning you’ll enjoy unlimited activities on the regular.

We’ve compiled a list of opportunities offered by Kidsworld – you can find out about all the others with the its calendar of awesome events.
