Drawing Animal Inside Out

  • What: Put pencil to paper inside Science World as you experience the animal world from a whole new perspective. Artists are invited to expand their knowledge of physiology as they explore more than 100 specimens in Science World’s feature exhibition, Animal Inside Out. A giraffe, camel and giant squid will provide unforgettable inspiration for artistic expression in this adult-only evening event.

Supper Club at Medina Cafe

Project True Presents: UnMasquerade

  • What: Project True presents Unmasquerade: an evening of art, music, and real talk in support of eating disorder recovery. Come as you are and enjoy a night of music, art, and inspiring words as we make recovery possible for men and women in the Lower Mainland.

Fright Nights at Playland

  • What: Western Canada’s most terrifying adult themed Halloween event, Fright Nights at Playland, is back this year, with seven haunted houses and fifteen fear-inducing rides.For the first time ever, visitors will be able to ride Canada’s most extreme pendulum ride during the Halloween season, as The Beast makes its Fright Nights debut. With a terrifying pendulum arm, guests will be swung 120 degrees in either direction while sitting in seats that spin 360 degrees, reaching speeds of more than 90 km/hr and heights of over 125 feet.

Stanley Park Ghost Train

  • What: The classic night train ride includes a 14-minute experience with lights, sounds, and live performers. Witness Dracula, Frankenstein, the Phantom of the Opera, and more, as they come back to life from behind the silver screen to haunt you, chill you, and thrill you!
