Caitlyn Jenner- Up Close and Personal

  • What: Come spend an intimate evening with Caitlyn Jenner for her limited and exclusive speaking engagement and Q&A at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver. As an athlete and transgender spokeswomen, Caitlyn Jenner has captured the imagination of the world with her World Records and Olympic Medals, her receipt of the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2015 ESPYs, and her record breaking appearance in the pages of Vanity Fair.

Great Russian Ballet: GISELLE

  • What: The Great Russian Ballet invites you to see one of the most popular ballet productions of all time. This death-defying love story, “Giselle”, is a masterpiece in two acts with music by Adolphe Adam, and choreography by Marius Petipa.

National Bottom Line Conference

  • What: The Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CMHA) annual National Bottom Line Conference brings together business leaders, union representatives, policy-makers, researchers, and workers to improve mental health in Canadian workplaces.

  • What: Start the day off right with salon-style classical music concerts in the gallery.Our morning begins with coffee, tea, treats and mingling with friends and neighbours, followed by a tour of the current exhibition in the Gordon Smith Gallery, hosted by the exhibition’s curator. After the tour, audiences take a seat and enjoy the serene sounds of classical music ringing through the gallery awakening a new understanding of the visual art on the walls.

BrainStation Vancouver Presents: Intro to Photoshop Workshop

  • What: Students will learn the basics of Photoshop and an overview of the following: common tools, proper workspace environment, and the various editing functions that Photoshop has to offer. Beyond the fundamental skills, this workshop will also go over the toolsets needed to enhance images and photographs (ex. lighting/colour correction, blemish removal, object distortions), as well as those to make a GIF, or frame-by-frame animation.
