Ho! Ho! Ho! The Christmas Comedy Show!

  • What: Give the gift of laughter this year with Ho! Ho! Ho! The Christmas Comedy Show! The Fictionals will be joined by special guests from improv troupes around Vancouver to perform improv inspired by holiday cheer! Yes, there will be candy canes.

Robson Square Ice Skating

  • What: The rink at Robson Square is operated seasonally by the provincial government when the temperatures begin to dip, running from morning into the late evening hours. This year, the free rink will remain open through the Christmas Holidays, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
  • Where: Robson Square – 800 Robson Street, Vancouver

Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker

  • What: The Goh Ballet’s critically acclaimed production of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker, returns to The Centre in Vancouver in December 2015. A fairytale ballet, the story is treasured by children and adults alike, weaving a tale full of magical surprises, and enchanting choreography.

Sweet Soul Gospel Christmas 2015

  • What: Celebrate the Joy of the Season with some Sweet Soul brought to you by the highly energetic VOC Sweet Soul Gospel Choir led by Checo Tohomaso. We will bring a variety of traditional songs and carols as well as a little Motown!
  • Where: St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church – 1022 Nelson Street, Vancouver

Vancouver Christmas Market

  • What: Over 50 vendors are featured in the event modeled after a classic German Christmas market. It sells festive gifts from holiday ornaments to handmade toys, and is also known for its wide array of authentic European and West Coast fare – from sausages and glühwein to gluten-free goodies and sweets.
  • Where: Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza – Hamilton and Georgia Streets, Vancouver
