Free ice skating at Robson Square Ice Rink

  • What: Get your skates on! The Robson Square Ice Rink will is open to everyone of all ages for FREE skating beginning December 1 until late February. Skaters can skate for free if they bring their own skates while those without skates can rent a pair on-site. There is also a concession stand serving snacks and warm drinks.
  • Where: Robson Square – 800 Robson Street, Vancouver

Vancouver Christmas Market at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre plaza

  • What: Over 50 vendors are featured in the event modelled after a classic German Christmas market. It sells festive gifts from holiday ornaments to handmade toys, and is also known for its wide array of authentic European and West Coast fare – from sausages and glühwein to gluten-free goodies and sweets.
  • Where: Queen Elizabeth Theatre – Hamilton and Georgia, Vancouver
  • When: Tuesday, December 1; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Fictionals present: Pop-Up Comedy Jam!

  • What: The award-winning Fictionals invite you to an comedy mixer at Cafe Deux Soleils. Each Pop-Up Comedy Jam features special guests from improv troupes around Vancouver, and you never know who’s going to jump onstage.

An Evening with John Irving
