Prince: Sign ‘O’ The Times

  • What: A rare screening of wildly innovative and theatrical concert film Sign ‘O’ The Times, directed by Prince himself and shot with an audience at the Rotterdam Music Hall in 1987, for release alongside his double album of the same name.
  • Where: Rio Theatre – 1660 E Broadway, Vancouver
  • When: Doors 9 p.m., movie 9:30 p.m.

Stars On Ice

  • What: Three-time World Champion and two-time Olympic Silver Medallist Elvis Stojko returns to the ice with an incredible cast of superstars including Olympic Gold medallists Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir and Olympic Silver medallist Patrick Chan.
  • Where: Rogers Arena – 800 Griffiths Way, Vancouver
  • When: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cider 101

  • What: If you want to learn a little more about cider in general, then this is the class for you, exploring major cider styles and regions including the hugely popular Pacific Northwest style – a blend of beer and cider.

  • When: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Ivan Decker

  • What: Ivan Decker is a Millennial comedian who’s been delighting folks across Canada since his debut in East Vancouver, finding humour in everyday situations and sharing the struggles of today’s young adults.
