Godspeed You! Black Emperor

  • What: That band the guy you remember from Metal Shop was always talking about, Godspeed You! Black Emperor is in Vancouver tonight. Described as a “post-rock collective,” if you know what that means then this is definitely the show for you.

Debra DiGiovanni at The Comedy Mix

  • What: Multi-Canadian Comedy Award winner Debra DiGiovanni comes to the Comedy Mix in Downtown Vancouver. You might know her for her award-winning stand up, her work with Much Music, or from CBC’s The Debaters. Either way, she’s a real life national treasure. Don’t miss out.

Pride & Prejudice

  • What: The stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s timeless classic of love, class, and family. Arts Club Theatre Company brings you the life of Elizabeth Bennett, an unmarried, and independent young woman living in England. Will she ever find love? If you’ve read the book, you know. But don’t spoil it!

  • What: A show by comedian Charlie Demers and Marcus Youssef of Neworld Theatre explores Demers’ proud socialism, and the current state of affairs. Have things gotten better? Why not?
