Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth

  • What: Films from around the world for kids and the young at heart, with fun activities for the whole family Hands-on workshops, a Youth Media Conference, and a showcase of films made by youth. Don’t miss Sunday Fun Day!  R2R is sure to delight, move and amaze audiences of all ages.

  • What: American singer-songwriter and rapper performs on her We Buy Gold Tour, with guest Leikeli47.

Feminist Live Reads Presents: Almost Famous

  • What: Feminist Live Reads is a regular staged live reading series created by writer/director Chandler Levack in Toronto in 2015. It aims to raise awareness of the disparity of roles available for women in film and television and to promote diversity in the entertainment industry. The series casts a strong ensemble of female actresses in amazing, complex roles from iconic film and television scripts, regardless of gender, to be performed live in front of an audience. All proceeds go to a charity to benefit women in our community.

  • When: Monday, April 11; 7 to 10 p.m.

The Debaters All-Star Stand-Up Comedy Night

  • What: Four of the Stars from CBC’s Radio Show The Debaters will entertain you, in an evening of Stand-up comedy hosted by The Debaters creator RICHARD SIDE. Join comedians Graham Clark, Ivan Decker, Charlie Demers and Erica Sigurdson for an evening of humour and insight, to raise funds for our theatre. Ticket price includes pre-show reception and after show party!
