Kevin Banner And Friend

  • What: Local pro-wrestling enthusiast and stand-up comedian Kevin Banner is recording his first comedy album soon – and he’s coming to Hot Art Wet City to run through the material with other local dynamos Kyle Bottom and Sophie Buddle.
  • Where: Hot Art Wet City – 2206 Main Street, Vancouver
  • When: Friday, June 17, doors 830 pm, show at 9 pm
  • Tickets: From Eventbrite, priced $7 in advance, $10 on the door

Strumming for Stroke

  • What: An evening of live ukelele music, including performances by Vancouver’s First Lady and Duke of Uke, Ruby & Smith, along with Ruby’s Ukulele Orchestra, and international performer and founder of the Vancouver Ukulele Circle, Ralph Shaw.
