The Grand Halloween Parade starts from Howe St (Drake to Smithe), Smithe St (Howe to Granville) and Granville St (Smithe to Davie). See the parade route on VanHalloween.com for more info.
From noon to 9 p.m. on October 17 and 18, come to the PNE Forum building to meet some of the people behind your favourite comics, films and anime. This year’s guests include Tiffany Grant, the voice actress of Asuka in Evangelion alongside Tom Woorduff Jr., the Academy Award-winning special effects supremo who’s worked on films including Spider-man, Predator and the original X-Men franchise.
The popular Cosplay contest takes place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 18. See how the artists create their costumes and vote for your favourites as Cosplayers compete for this year’s crown.
On Saturday and Sunday October 17 and 18, rock out with live bands including Uncle Sid and International Blindfold, who will be on stage at the performance hall inside PNE Forum Building.
Let’s eat! The event is surrounded by fantastic food trucks to fuel you up during a busy day at the Expo.
