5 reasons you should join the Quest New West challenge today

New Westminster is quickly becoming a go-to spot for all types of great activities, and this weekend you can experience New West on foot or by bike with Quest New West on Sunday, June 7.

With registration closing tonight at 11:59 p.m. here are five reasons you’ll want to sign up for the challenge.

Exciting exercise

When is the last time your workout was fun? With an option to run or bike and activities along the duration of the course with this great event it will be.

Team building

Teams will compete either as a pedestrian pair, cyclist pair, pedestrian team consisting of three to four people, or cyclist team consisting of three to four people. Each team will have five hours to visit each of the 25 locations and complete all challenges. This may sound easy but ask yourself, how well do you communicate with your friends, family or colleagues? Quest New West may be the perfect way to find out.

It’s a race

The amazing race inspired event will have contestants compete in 20 exciting challenges at various businesses and attractions within New Westminster. This will surely allow you to bring out those great traits you have been wanting everyone to see.

Win some cash

The winners of each category take home some cash. Plus, the first group to finish overall wins an additional $500. You may not remember the last time putting cash in your pocket was this easy… or this much fun!

Explore New West

Through the different challenges, you’ll be going around New West and exploring the different areas you might not have even known about – you may even find your new favourite shop or restaurant. Some stops that contestants will embark upon include:

• Chop Shop
• Anvil Centre
• The Stage New West
• Music Box
• Steel and Oak Brewing Co.
• Vancouver Circus School
• Zhoosh Fitness
• And more…

Once winners are chosen and the race has been completed, the celebration continues at Wild Rice where the wrap up party will commence. And what’s an event if it doesn’t have a great party to follow?
