Last fall, in response to complaints, the provincial government introduced new legislation that would restrict the size of residential properties on ALR — overriding municipal government policies.
The size of new homes on ALR will be limited to less than 5,400 sq. ft., unless there is direct proof a larger home would support a farming business.
