On Saturday, October 19, 2013 Social Bites is teaming up with Chimp and HomeDine to bring Vancouver a never-heard-of-before local, global dinner party. Imagine up to 30 Vancouverites opening their homes to welcome diners in for a home cooked meal in support of their favourite charity.
The whole idea is to bring together a bunch of intrepid, social strangers and put them into intimate, home settings across the city, all raising money for charity while being feted by local Vancouverites.
Tickets are $35 per person and include dinner at a hobby chef’s home + glass of beer/wine with dinner + entry to the after-party at Hawkers Market featuring local dessert vendors, a bar, and wicked DJ. Please bring cash/credit card for desserts & drinks.
100% of the ticket price will be gifted back as Chimp charity dollars after the event. The charity dollars can be used to donate to any charity supported through #dinnerpartyYVR.
How to buy tickets:
- Step 1: Go to HomeDine.com and join by clicking “Connect with Facebook”. Why Facebook? We want you to get to know your fellow diners prior to the event. Plus, it allows us to verify diners and ensure hobby chefs are comfortable with their guests.
- Step 2: After you sign up, browse the meals below or simply search for Vancouver on the HomeDine website.
- Step 3: Join a meal, pay via integrated Pay Pal.
- Step 4: We approve you if a seat is available and done! Easy!
