Three more Richmond schools report COVID-19 exposures

Vancouver Coastal Health identified new COVID-19 exposures Wednesday at three high schools in Richmond.

Richmond Secondary is reporting an exposure from November 24 to 27, J.N. Burnett Secondary is reporting one from November 24 to 26, and Matthew McNair Secondary is reporting one from November 24 to 27.

The health authority says that an exposure does not necessarily mean there was transmission at the school — only that the sick person came to school during their infectious period.

Only those who are close contacts of an infected individual need to self-isolate, and contact tracers will phone those people directly. Everyone else can come to school as normal.
