Survey says: Vancouver boasts three of the 10 best restaurants in the nation, and a handful of BC eateries rank in the top 50.
The list comes courtesy the site Vacay.ca, who brought together a panel of food industry professionals and writers to evaluate restaurants across Canada. After all the points were dished out, Vancouver’s Farmer’s Apprentice (4), Vij’s (5), and Hawksworth (6), made the top 10 cut.
Among the judges were the namesake owners of Vij’s and Hawksworth, Vikram Vij and David Hawksworth, respectively, however they were not allowed to vote for their own establishments.
Also doing Metro Vancouver proud are L’Abattoir (13), West (22), Espana (31), Maenam (32),and Hoi Tong Seafood (46).
If you want to dine at the number one restaurant in Canada according to the Vacay.ca survey, Vancouverites will need to make the long trek east to St. Johns for a meal at Raymonds.
