Delta Police are investigating a shooting that occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday.
According to a statement, at approximately 4:30 a.m. police officers were deployed to the 11400 block of 92nd Avenue to respond to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a male who had been shot on the road in front of a residence.
The male victim is 24 years old and was transported to hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries. The identity of the suspects is not known, but it is believed that they fled the scene in a black SUV.
