This 2013 Vancouver Tree Lighting Celebration – Presented by Amacon is now in its 7th year and from humble beginnings it has managed to raise over $650,000 for local charities through its generous sponsors.
Continuing a festive civic tradition, Amacon Group will provide the city of Vancouver with a free, public event to kick off the holiday season! It will feature entertainment from the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, celebrity appearances by Trevor Linden, the BC Lions and even Santa Clause himself.
Join Host Global TV’s Steve Darling for the hour and a half program while enjoying complimentary sweet holiday treats from The Loden Hotel, Tableau Bar Bistro and Homer Street Cafe.
