The 2011 Vancouver Celebration of Light schedule has been announced as the annual Vancouver’s fireworks competition get’s set for another year of dazzling displays and mounds of garbage ripe for early morning clean up. Surprisingly, this year there was no threat of cancelation, which in itself was becoming a tradition of sorts.
2011 Celebration of Light Schedule :
Saturday July 30, 2011: China will illuminate the sky with a performance dubbed “China Storm”
Wednesday August 3rd, 2011: Spain presents “Odyssey”
Saturday August 6, 2011: Canada bring you “Then and Now”
The fireworks begin at 10 until 10:25 p.m. Of course you would want to get there early to claim the best viewing spots and avoid the hoards of crowds pouring in closer to the shows start.
