2010 Canada Day @ Granville Island

With Canada Day just around the corner there are a lot of events going on in Metro Vancouver (see our full list here). In Vancouver alone there are numerous events planned for the day (Yaletown, Coal Harbour etc…) and Granville Island is just one of them. Lets just hope the weather gets a lot better and fast!

When: Thursday, July 1, 2010 – 8:00am – 11:00pm

Where: Granville Island

Granville Island is bursting at the seams with culturally diverse national pride. Around every corner you’ll find entertainment, artwork and food that allows you to wrap yourself in the flag and embrace the rich tapestry of our multicultural nation.

Full program:
11th Annual Canada Day Parade | FREE
1:30pm – 2pm Starting at Ocean Construction and ending at Ron Basford Park.

Official Canada Day Ceremony | FREE
2pm – 2:30pm Ron Basford Park, Johnston Street
