2009 Vancouver Sun Run, April 19

This weekend The Vancouver Sun sponsored Sun Run will take place in downtown Vancouver. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the race. The races humble beginnings in 1985 had 3700 participants, a far cry from the 50,000 + expected to participate in the second largest 10 k race in North America.

Vancity Buzz staffers Maverick and Money J Skeets will be partaking in the race. However, both will be walking as they are extremely out of shape. Urban Dweller will be running the entire 10k or so he says.
