The May long weekend is the unofficial kick-off to summer and although the recent chilly weather may not feel like summer rest assured it just around the corner.
Here are a list of events around the Lower Mainland that you should check out this May long weekend:
1. The Cloverdale Rodeo: For those that don’t know where Cloverdale is, it is in Surrey close to Langely. Yeah it’s a bit far but the Rodeo is always a good time.
2. Vancouver International Childrens Festival @ Vanier Park: Closer to home, this festival runs up until May 18.
3. Gossip’s 2009 VIP Gala ft. Starkillers: MJS will be there, ’nuff said.
