Vancouver’s iconic Rosewood Hotel Georgia was recently ranked as the second best hotel in Canada by Trivago’s inaugural Top Hotel Awards.

It’s a fitting reward for the Hotel Georgia, which has been a mainstay of Vancouver’s cultural landscape since first opening in 1927. And, in honour of its recent ranking, we decided to look back at the hotel’s illustrious 89-year history.
