Ladies, break out those fascinators and gentlemen, ascot ties will put you on the A-List. The time has come for you to show off your derby duds for an afternoon of food, fun and philanthropy.
Riaz Meghji and Jason Sarai, co-founders of 1Karma, invite you to the 2nd annual ‘A Day at the Races’ event at the Hastings Racecourse on Saturday August 10, 2013. This year they are raising funds for Covenant House (covenanthousebc.org).
Tickets are now available online for $100 each. This year, there will be a tax receipt of approximately $50 per ticket courtesy of the Covenant House that will be emailed to buyers a week after the event. Your ticket includes a three course lunch buffet and access to the exclusive patio setup at the Hastings Racecourse.
