The 17th annual European Festival hosted by EuroFest BC Society highlights European culture and tradition by showcasing various European singing, dancing, food. The event is Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 1 and will feature Vancouver band, Hey Ocean on Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m.
The two day event held at Swangard Stadium allows Vancouverites to experience various European cultures without having to leave the city. The European festival will allow you to see Europe through the perspective of Europeans and create “unity through diversity.”
Want a cold beer in hand during the festival? No problem. The festival is no longer restricted to cordoned off beer gardens and are now able to roam freely around the grounds.
Saturday and Sunday day passes are $15 and Saturday evening concert passes are $20. Day passes admits festival goers only until 6 p.m. whereas the evening concert passes admits all day until midnight. Children under the age of 12 are free and if you buy two tickets or more you will receive a 15% discount.
