150 tires slashed overnight in North Vancouver

Dec 19 2017, 9:03 pm

North Vancouver RCMP is investigating over 150 cases of slashed tires that occurred overnight on December 4.

The targeted area was around Capilano University down toward Park and Tilford. Police are continuing to receive complaints this morning as motorists find their tires out of commission.

RCMP is advising all drivers to check their vehicles to make sure they are in condition to drive. For public safety, it is important not to drive a vehicle with deflated tires.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the culprit or culprits who are responsible. If you noticed any suspicious person or vehicle overnight, or have been victimized by this criminal act of mischief, please call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
