15-year-old female stabbed at Delta high school

Delta Police is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Delview Secondary School earlier today.

At 2:20 p.m., a fight between two 15-year-old female students occurred on the school’s grounds. One of the girls produced a knife and stabbed the other one in the arm.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody, and the victim has been transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Local school district officials are working with the police to investigate the incident. At this time, limited information has been released by police and the school.
