It looks like the site across from Vancouver City Hall will finally be developed. For years it sat vacant doubling as a parking lot for White Spot. Judging by the preliminary renders it look like an ugly addition to what should be treated as a prominent corner and deserves something architecturally appealing. Hopefully the proposal is rejected and requires a design overhaul.

The current proposal is designed Fougere Architecture for Shato Holdings the proposal calls for eight storeys with 137 condos over retail and a brand new White Spot.
