It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and your favourite holiday gift-stravaganza is returning for its 15th anniversary. And this time it’s bigger than ever.
With more than $40,000 in amazing prizes, we’re thrilled to bring you our epic 12 Days of Giveaways, where for 12 days in December, we bring you new opportunities to win incredible gifts.
From luxury hotel stays to gift cards for your favourite stores and experiences at the hottest restaurants in your city, every day is a new opportunity.
The 12 Days of Giveaways began all the way back in 2010, when we gave away $3,000 to our small but growing fan base.
Flash forward 15 years, and we have over ten times that amount to give back to our readers.
We know that it’s been a wild 2025 for our audience, with the rising price of groceries, increasing housing costs, and inflation, so we wanted to bring some holiday cheer into the Christmas season.
How it works
Starting on Monday, Dec. 1, we’ll be launching a number of different contests each day on Instagram. Every giveaway will run until 11:59 pm PT on Dec. 16. Then, in the days following, we’ll randomly draw names from all the entries and reach out directly through the platform entered.
There will be something for everyone to win: luxurious staycations, fitness packages, gift cards to your favourite restaurants, and more.
Some giveaways will be available to everyone reading Daily Hive across the country, while others are for specific cities only, so make sure you know which city the contest is for.
The nitty-gritty
The 12 Days of Giveaways will start on Dec. 1 and end on Dec. 16. It is open to residents of British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
