Feb 14 2019, 4:20 am

Don’t let the current blue skies fool you, snow and poor visibility will soon return.

Because of this, Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Toronto this afternoon and into the evening.

According to the weather agency, bursts of heavy snow will continue into this evening, while westerly winds gusting to 60 to 70 km/h are also expected to generate blowing snow. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero.

Motorists should be prepared for quickly changing winter driving conditions.

Additionally, Environment Canada says the snow will taper off near midnight, and with the windchill, it will feel more like -15°C, so make sure to bundle up.
