Winter stations to expand across the city starting next month

The annual Winter Stations is expanding across the city in order to comply with Toronto’s current COVID-19 restrictions.
According to the art showcase, though traditionally displayed along the city’s east end beaches during the winter months, this year the exhibit will include more locations and be scheduled throughout spring and right into the summer.
Earlier this year, the Winter Stations revealed its winning designs for this year’s art show; however, due to Ontario’s lockdown, they are yet to be exhibited.

Part of the newly rebranded Spring and Summer Stations, exhibitions will be located at the Distillery District from May 21 to late June. This is where the ARc de Blob, From Small Beginnings, and The Epitonium exhibit will be located.
During the same time, other Spring Stations like the THROBBER will be located at 33 Parliament Street from May 21 to late June.
As for the Summer Station, ARc de Blob will be located at The Beach Village BIA in July. Exact dates and locations are to be announced.
“Winter Stations and its venue sponsors strongly encourage everyone who visits the stations to do so on their own, or with members of their own household and to practice social distancing while at a station,” state the organizers in a press release.
